1. Horizon3.ai Unveils NodeZero Tripwires: Horizon3.ai, a specialist in autonomous security solutions, has released NodeZero Tripwires, an addition to its product suite that integrates attack detection directly into the penetration testing process. This solution combines deception and detection technologies within NodeZero autonomous pentests to identify unauthorized access and malicious activities in real-time. By providing a precision-placed early warning system on exploitable attack paths during a pentest, NodeZero Tripwires enhances organizational security posture and disrupts potential attackers, the company said.

2. NetSPI Hire Targets Channel-First Strategy: NetSPI has appointed Alvaro Warden as vice president of Worldwide Channels, reinforcing its commitment to a channel-first growth strategy. Alvaro brings more than 20 years of cybersecurity channel experience, previously leading, building and enabling channel programs at Invicti Security, GitLab, LogRhythm and HP/HPE Software. Under Alvaro's leadership, NetSPI partners will see significant investment in the NetSPI Partner Program, the company said.

3. Proofpoint Powers Human-Centric Security: Proofpoint, a cybersecurity and compliance company, has expanded capabilities across its platform to provide customers with broader, adaptive human-centric security controls. These new solutions and integrations shield organizations from incoming threats across messaging, collaboration and social media apps; secure SaaS applications and identity posture across a vast array of applications; prevent data loss with smarter, more adaptive data security; and steer employees to safer behaviors through adaptive educational security guidance, the company said.

4. Snyk and Orca Security Form AppSec Partnership: Snyk, a developer security specialist, and Orca Security, an agentless cloud security provider, have formed strategic partnership. The collaboration features a bi-directional integration combining Snyk’s developer-first Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) solution, Snyk AppRisk, with Orca’s Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP). Mutual customers are now equipped and empowered with visibility into risks throughout the entire application lifecycle, from development to runtime, the companies said.

5. Adaptiva Launches Patch Solution: Adaptiva, an autonomous endpoint management provider, has launched Flex Controls in OneSite Patch. The solution gives users advanced management capabilities over their patch deployment processes, including the ability to immediately pause or cancel patch rollouts as well as rollback patches to previous versions or block unwanted patches. These tools deliver confidence, security and safety to users by providing the control necessary for efficient autonomous patching and vulnerability remediation, the company said.

6. Veritas Joins the IT Sector Coordinating Council: Veritas Technologies, a specialist in secure multi-cloud data resilience, has joined the Information Technology Sector Coordinating Council (IT SCC). Veritas will collaborate with other IT SCC members, including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and additional federal, state, local, tribal and territorial government agencies, to facilitate initiatives and policies that improve the nation’s overall cyber resilience, the company said.

7. Opus Security Elevates Vulnerability Management: Opus Security, a specialist in unified cloud-native remediation, has launched its Advanced Multi-Layered Prioritization Engine. Leveraging AI-driven intelligence, deep contextual data and automated decision-making capabilities, the engine helps organizations prioritize the most critical vulnerabilities, enhancing both security posture and operational efficiency, the company said.

8. Tanium Debuts Tanium Automate: Tanium, a converged endpoint management provider, has brought to market Tanium Automate, giving organizations running Tanium in the cloud real-time automation for common IT operations and security tasks. Automate allows operators to automate complex tasks in real-time by replacing manual processes with easy to implement no and low code orchestration and automation across operations and security domains, the company said.

9. Cynomi Names New Chief Evangelist: Cynomi, a vCISO platform provider for MSPs and MSSPs, announced that Tim Coach has joined the company as chief evangelist of Community and Channels. In addition to representing Cynomi at industry events and supporting the company’s mission to enable cybersecurity management by all MSPs, he will be responsible for continually improving and growing channel relationships, leading community initiatives and enhancing the global partner experience, the company said.

10. Moovila Bolsters Project Management for MSPs: Moovila, an AI-driven project automation platform provider for MSPs, has launched Smart Schedule, which provides supervised autonomous scheduling for project teams. This solution directly addresses the significant challenges MSPs face in managing dynamic project portfolios, enhancing operational efficiency and protecting margins, the company said.
