1. Immersive Labs Launches Online Community: Immersive Labs, a company focused on people-centric cyber resilience, has launched the Human Connection, its new online hub offering resources and cybersecurity insights from the company’s subject matter experts and discussions to give cyber professionals an advantage over cyber threats. Immersive Labs customers and aspiring cyber professionals can visit and register on the Human Connection for access to resources, help and support forums, as well as opportunities to collaborate with Immersive Labs experts, the company said.

2. Critical Start Appoints CEO: MSSP Critical Start, a managed detection and response (MDR) specialist, has appointed Scott White as CEO. Following the retirement and this planned executive transition, Rob Davis, founder of Critical Start, will serve as executive chairman. Most recently, White served as chief operating officer and chief revenue officer at DoiT International, a global cloud SaaS and advisory services company. White has also held senior leadership positions at Chargify, Mailgun and Rackspace.

3. Aqua Security Launches VEX Hub Repository: Aqua Security, a cloud-native security provider, has brought to market VEX Hub, a vendor-neutral repository for VEX (vulnerability exploitability eXchange). VEX is a new industry standard for communicating and sharing information on security vulnerabilities for software artifacts. VEX Hub now provides users and software maintainers a single library of vulnerability information and less false positives, the company said.

4. Entro Security Labs Issues Security Advisory: Entro Security, a non-human identity (NHI) and secrets management platform provider, has released its research report, “2025 State of Non-Human Identities and Secrets in Cybersecurity.” The Entro research found that 97% of NHIs have excessive privileges increasing unauthorized access and broadening the attack surface, and 92% of organizations are exposing NHIs to third parties. Surprisingly, 44% of tokens are exposed in the wild, being sent or stored over platforms like Teams, Jira tickets, Confluence pages, code commits and more, Entro reports.

5. NCC Group Launches Digital Identity Services: NCC Group has launched a new suite of digital identity services to help organizations manage and safeguard access to their digital assets. Whether its managing access to critical applications, streamlining user registration and authentication or effectively managing the use of privileged accounts, NCC Group has developed a unified digital identity framework that mitigates risks, ensures compliance and enhances user experience, the company said.

6. SentinelOne Protects Lenovo PCs with AI Security: SentinelOne and Lenovo have announced a multi-year collaboration to bring AI-powered endpoint security to millions of Lenovo devices across the globe. Lenovo will include SentinelOne’s Singularity Platform and generative AI capabilities (Purple AI) in new PC shipments, as well as offer upgrades to existing customers to expand its ThinkShield security portfolio and autonomously protect devices from modern attacks, the companies said.

7. CrowdStrike Expands Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator with AWS, NVIDIA: CrowdStrike has launched its second annual Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator with Amazon Web Services (AWS). NVIDIA also joins in supporting the Accelerator program, powering the next generation of AI and cloud security startups. Targeting cybersecurity’s next market-defining disruptors across the U.S. and EMEA, AWS and CrowdStrike with NVIDIA through its Inception program, will provide mentorship, technical expertise, funding and go-to-market opportunities, the company said.

8. NinjaOne Announces Free Warranty Tracking: NinjaOne, an IT platform provider for endpoint management, is now offering NinjaOne Warranty Tracking free to all NinjaOne MSP customers. Additionally, NinjaOne Documentation is free for any MSP customer up to three users. NinjaOne is also offering white-glove professional services to easily migrate new customers, which helps large MSPs move technology stacks without impacting their business, the company said.

9. FBI, CISA Warn Against False Claims of Hacked Voter Information: The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) have issued a public service announcement (PSA) to raise awareness of attempts to undermine public confidence in the security of U.S. election infrastructure through the spread of disinformation falsely claiming that cyberattacks compromised U.S. voter registration databases.
