1. Kiteworks Acquires 123FormBuilder: Kiteworks, a provider of data privacy and compliance for sensitive content communications through its Private Content Network (PCN), has acquired 123FormBuilder, a provider of advanced data collection through secure web forms and form-driven private content workflows. This acquisition of 123FormBuilder strengthens Kiteworks’ position as a trusted provider for organizations seeking to protect sensitive content across their entire content communications ecosystem and follows its recent $456 million growth equity investment, the company said. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
2. High Wire Networks Appoints CEO, CRO: High Wire Networks, an MSSP, has appointed Edward Vasko as CEO and Mark Dallmeier as chief revenue officer of the company’s Overwatch managed cybersecurity services division. Over the last few months, Vasko has been serving as a strategic advisor to Overwatch. In his new role as CEO, he brings to the position more than 30 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry, including leading business formation and development, driving rapid growth and executing strategic M&As and exits, the company said.
3. SlashNext Launches Zero-Trust Stealth Mode Browsers: SlashNext, a specialist in AI cloud email and communications security, has launched Project Phantom. These zero trust stealth mode browsers, utilized by the company's messaging security platform, are designed to see through obfuscation techniques commonly used by threat actors and deliver enhanced protection against phishing and malware for all customers, the company said. SlashNext can now bypass obfuscation techniques employed by CAPTCHA services from Cloudflare, Google and others.
4. Tenable Bolsters Risk Prioritization: Tenable, an exposure management company, has delivered new risk prioritization and compliance features for Tenable Nessus, its vulnerability assessment solution. Nessus supports new and updated vulnerability scoring systems — Exploit Prediction Scoring System (EPSS) and Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) v4 — to help customers implement more effective prioritization for risk reduction and maintain compliance, the company said.
5. Skyhigh Security Unveils AI-Powered SSE Solutions: Skyhigh Security has brought to market Skyhigh AI, an advanced suite of AI-powered capabilities within its security service edge (SSE) platform designed to elevate organizations’ security posture. Skyhigh AI significantly reduces the risks associated with enterprise usage of AI applications through increased visibility, improved protection and ensured compliance, the company said.
6. Cequence Integrates API Security Capabilities with Netskope: Cequence, an API security and bot management specialist, has announced a new partnership with Netskope, a secure access service edge (SASE) provider. Through the partnership, Netskope customers can now leverage unique API threat intelligence from the Cequence Unified API Protection (UAP) platform to unlock insights into real-world threats and ultimately strengthen organizational security posture, the company said.
7. Exertis and Seceon Expand Managed Security Services: Seceon, a cybersecurity provider that augments and automates security operations services with an AI/ ML-powered aiSIEM, aiXDR platform, has announced an expanded relationship with Exertis Enterprise as they launch Fortress (SOC). As part of a full spectrum of managed services, Exertis Services will now provide 24x7 coverage from cyber threats. Operating from our new Security Operations Center in Basingstoke, U.K., Exertis will empower organizations across the U.K. and EMEA to defend against downtime and cyberattacks while meeting stringent cybersecurity compliance and regulatory standards, the companies said.
8. HackerOne Partners with GuidePoint Security, Softcat: HackerOne, a specialist in human-powered security, has announced partnerships with GuidePoint Security and Softcat to simplify how enterprises access the world’s largest security researcher community. Through PartnerOne, partners will open new revenue streams with buyers worldwide who must meet growing global regulatory requirements and fight complex, emerging threats, the company said.
