Today’s MSSP Alert Market News:

1. Cybersecurity Partnership: Kyndryl, a global technology infrastructure services provider, and Veeam Software, a data replication and protection software specialist, have formed a strategic alliance focused on providing customers with resiliency services. The alliance combines Kyndryl's expertise in managed security services and infrastructure management with Veeam. Kyndryl customers will benefit from simplified and holistic data protection and ransomware recovery, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance features along with cloud-native and Kubernetes environments, the companies said.

2. Dark Web Defense: Searchlight Cyber, a dark web intelligence company, has integrated the MITRE ATT&CK Enterprise Framework into its DarkIQ dark web monitoring solution. MITRE ATT&CK mapping in DarkIQ helps organizations identify threats in the reconnaissance and resource development stages of the MITRE ATT&CK framework, the company said.

3. Device Security Release: Beyond Identity, a provider of passwordless, phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication (MFA), has released its new Device360 solution for continuous device security posture management. Device360 empowers organizations of any size to instantly identify security risks across managed and unmanaged devices and prevent breaches, the company said.

4. Company Rebrand: Compliance Risk, a provider of governance-as-a-service solutions for MSPs, has rebranded to Compliance Scorecard. The strategic move reflects the commitment to help MSPs easily integrate compliance services into their offerings, Compliance Scorecard said.

5. Network Security Acquisition: Tufin, a specialist in network and cloud security policy automation, has acquired AKIPS, a global provider of network monitoring solutions for enterprises. The addition of AKIPS supports Tufin’s mission to empower network teams with end-to-end visibility, actionable insights, continuous compliance, and automation while accelerating the secure deployment of critical business applications, the companies said. 6. Acquisition Bolsters Business Email Defense: Resilience, a cyber risk management firm, has acquired BreachQuest, an incident response technology solution. The integration with BreachQuest aims to bolster incident response mechanisms against business email compromise (BEC) attacks, the company said. The addition of BreachQuest's capabilities will also support Resilience's claims management team as they proactively address cyber incidents with greater efficacy. 7. Supply Chain Security: BlueVoyant, a cybersecurity company focused on internal and external risk, has released its AI-driven Supply Chain Defense Business Risk Monitoring solution. Integrated into its supply chain defense platform, the managed solution rapidly identifies and resolves critical cybersecurity issues in organizations' third-party ecosystem, the company said. The service uses AI and machine learning to monitor more than 50,000 data sources to detect risk events.

8. Leadership Move: Axiad, an identity security platform provider, has appointed David Canellos as CEO. Prior to Axiad, Canellos was the president and CEO of Ericom Software, a SaaS provider of security service edge solutions, which was acquired by Ericsson. At Ericsson, he was the senior vice president of the enterprise wireless cybersecurity business unit.

9. XDR Partnership: Vectra AI, a specialist in hybrid attack detection, investigation and response, and Gigamon, a deep observability company, have formed a partnership to deliver extended detection and response (XDR) across hybrid cloud environments. Vectra AI combines its AI-driven Attack Signal Intelligence with the deep observability capabilities of the Gigamon GigaVUE Cloud Suite to effectively detect and respond to cyber threats, using cloud network intelligence and insights, the companies said.
