Today’s MSSP Alert Market News:

1. Funding Round: Nozomi Networks, a specialist in operational technology and Internet of Things security, has announced a $100 million Series E funding round to help accelerate cyber defenses and expand go-to-market expansion globally. This latest round includes investments from Mitsubishi Electric and Schneider Electric.

2. AI Security Advancement: Tenable, a specialist in exposure management, has delivered enhancements to ExposureAI, the generative AI capabilities and services within its Tenable One Exposure Management Platform. The new features enable customers to quickly summarize relevant attack paths, ask questions of an AI assistant and receive specific mitigation guidance to act on intelligence and reduce risk, the company said.

3. National Security Partnership: Everfox, formerly Forcepoint Federal, and Microsoft have formed a strategic partnership. Microsoft will integrate Everfox’s cross domain technology into Azure’s cloud service offerings. Through its partnership with Microsoft, U.S. military warfighters and the intelligence community will be able to access the information that the mission requires, the companies said.

4. Leadership Move: Legit Security, an application security posture management (ASPM) platform provider, has appointed Justin Bradley as the company’s new vice president of Customer Success. Bradley spent a majority of his career at CyberArk, where he created and grew the global customer success team. He will scale Legit Security’s customer success team to bolster customer expansion, cross-selling and retention, the company said.

5. Security Partnership: Open XDR specialist Stellar Cyber is partnering with Torq, a security hyperautomation company, to help security teams improve their ability to combat cyberattacks. This partnership combines Stellar Cyber Open XDR with Torq Hyperautomation, providing security teams with an integrated solution to streamline their security operations, the companies said.

6. Data Loss Protection: Trellix has unveiled new macOS Trellix Data Loss Prevention Endpoint Complete capabilities to better secure sensitive and proprietary information from accidental or intentional exposure. Global organizations can now protect against critical data leakage via Outlook email, prevent sensitive documents from being printed or transferred by AirDrop, and block file uploads in Chrome, Edge and Safari, Trellix said.

7. Security Platform Integration: Deloitte has bolstered its cybersecurity business by integrating CrowdStrike's Falcon platform as one of its primary tools for its Cyber Incident Readiness, Response, and Recovery (CIR3) services globally. Deloitte's Incident Response services use Falcon endpoint and cloud technology to enable detection and removal of threat actors from client environments, permitting remediation and recovery procedures to minimize disruption to organizations, the company said.

8. Security Incident: Orlando, Florida's MarineMax, a recreational boat and yacht retailer, reported a cybersecurity incident on March 10 involving unauthorized access to parts of its information environment by an external party. The company, upon discovering the breach, promptly activated its incident response and business continuity plans, implementing measures to contain the security incident. (Source: Investing.com)

9. Leadership Move: Cyber Defense Group (CDG), a specialist in cybersecurity solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), has appointed Gus Anagnos as chief operating officer. He previously served as chief information security officer at the University of Southern California (USC), where he led a comprehensive cybersecurity transformation.

10. Security Partnership: TD SYNNEX, a global distributor and solutions aggregator, has expanded its security offerings across North America, Latin America and the Caribbean through a new partnership with Splunk, a cybersecurity and observability company. TD SYNNEX further expands its offerings through access to Splunk’s platform, simplifying the management and analysis of vast volumes of machine-generated data, which is crucial for businesses seeking advanced analytics, application management, compliance and security solutions, the company said.
