Today’s MSSP Alert Market News:

1. Industry Recognition: Stellar Cyber, a specialist in Open XDR, has been named to the prestigious Forbes 2024 list of America’s Best Startup Employers, ranking No. 137 among the Top 500 companies. Forbes compiled a list of 3,000 privately held US companies started between 2014 and 2021. The evaluation criteria focused on company reputation, employee satisfaction and growth trajectory.

2. AI Cybersecurity Advancement: KnowBe4, a security awareness training and simulated phishing platform provider, has unveiled its AI-native platform, Artificial Intelligence Defense Agents (AIDA). AIDA enables organizations to automate the dynamic selection of security awareness training and testing to give users a more individualized learning experience based on their specific needs, the company said.

3. MSSP Partner Program Expands: HYAS Infosec, an adversary infrastructure platform provider, announced a new benefit to its HYAS ONPOINT Program, which lets MSPs, MSSPs and other channel partners offer HYAS Protect, a protective DNS solution, to their clients and leverage HYAS Insight proactive threat intelligence platform. Partners joining the HYAS ONPOINT Partner Program and offering HYAS Protect protective DNS as part of their managed service will receive a complimentary 12-month minimum subscription to the HYAS Insight threat intelligence and investigation platform to use in their security stack.

4. Security Partnership: Windstream Enterprise (WE), an IT managed services provider, has unveiled Secure Flex Premium, a comprehensive suite of advanced technology solutions powered by Fortinet that provides a fully customizable cybersecurity infrastructure aimed to address the current and future network security needs of each unique customer.

5. Healthcare Cybersecurity Release: Cynerio has expanded its Healthcare Cybersecurity Platform to safeguard patient data and combat escalating cyber threats. The four primary focus areas are: Safeguarding Healthcare Information with Patient Data Security, Stopping Healthcare-Focused Cyber Attacks with Network Detection + Response, Automating Connected Device Discovery and Analysis with Complete Asset Visibility, and Providing Enhanced Protections for Healthcare Technology with Medical Device Security.

6. MSP Security Partnership: Inspira Enterprise has announced a partnership with Ping Identity to offer a simplified security approach to customers through centralized identity and access management (IAM) and an improved digital experience. Inspira's partnership with Ping will help customers streamline complex, multi-tenant identity infrastructure to ensure solutions are architected with security in mind and delivered with a frictionless digital experience. Inspira joins a growing list of solution providers, resellers, MSPs and global systems integrators developing IAM solutions and services through the Ping Global Channel Partner Program, the companies said.

7. Industry Recognition: Bitdefender has earned six AV-TEST awards, including two for Best Protection for Windows (enterprise), Best Performance for Windows (enterprise), Best Protection for Windows (consumer), Best MacOS Security (consumer) and Best Android Security (consumer).

8. Company Expansion: Fortinet has announced plans to invest $30 million and create new jobs in Alberta, Canada’s tech sector. With support from Invest Alberta and Calgary Economic Development, and a grant from the Government of Alberta, Fortinet will expand into Calgary’s downtown, creating a cutting-edge cybersecurity tech hub, the company said. The Government of Alberta's Innovation and Growth Fund will contribute more than $3 million towards Fortinet’s expansion, which includes a data center, a training facility for its cybersecurity training curriculum and a center of excellence to enhance resiliency and knowledge in safeguarding critical infrastructure and operational technologies.
