Cyber incident alert

About a year after Crowdstrike introduced its MSSP/MSP partner program, guess what? The company was chosen by 13% of our MSSP 250 companies as impacting their success. (Download our 2024 MSSP 250 research report here.) Crowdstrike ranked number 5 on the list of over 200 vendors that MSSPs named as impacting their success in 2024.

While Crowdstrike saw excellent progress in the service provider segment of the IT channel in the last year, 2024 wasn’t without its bumps for the cybersecurity vendor. The company weathered a major hit in July when it was blamed for a global IT outage caused by a software update.

At the end of November Crowdstrike raised its annual revenue and profit forecasts for the year and beat third-quarter revenue estimates. CrowdStrike expects its annual revenue to be between $3.92 billion and $3.93 billion, compared with its prior expectations of $3.89 billion to $3.90 billion. The company's revenue for the third quarter, ended Oct.31, rose about 29% to $1.01 billion, beating estimates of $982.4 million.
