Orange Business, Orange Cyberdefense and Palo Alto Networks are working together to deliver a managed secure access service edge (SASE) solution that "meets enterprise customers' most demanding networking and security requirements," the companies announced in a prepared statement.

The managed SASE solution protects enterprises moving or running their operations in the cloud from cyber threats, a spokesperson for Orange Business, Orange Cyberdefense and Palo Alto Networks told MSSP Alert. It also promotes simplicity and end-to-end security in the cloud.

How the Managed SASE Solution Works

The managed SASE solution combines Palo Alto Networks Prisma SASE solution with Orange Business' connectivity and digital integration capabilities and Orange Cyberdefense's Managed Secure Access service, the companies said. As a result, the solution helps organizations establish distributed network infrastructure to serve the needs of hybrid workers. I will also minimize their attack surface and guard against current and emerging cyber threats.

Prisma SASE uses artificial intelligence to help organizations improve their security, Palo Alto Networks indicated. It provides organizations with various capabilities, including:

  • Autonomous digital experience management (ADEM)
  • Network security
  • SD-WAN

Orange Business orchestrates organizations' network, cloud and cybersecurity components, the company noted. In doing so, Orange Business helps organizations consolidate their business and infrastructure strategies.

Meanwhile, Orange Cyberdefense Managed Secure Access offers threat intelligence, detection and response capabilities, the company said.

Business Executives Share Their Thoughts on the Managed SASE Solution

Helmut Reisinger, CEO for Palo Alto Networks' EMEA and Latin America regions, described how organizations can use the managed SASE solution to improve their cyber resilience:

"By combining our SASE solution with the services and management capabilities of Orange into a single platform, we are empowering our customers with industry-leading networking and security that is simple to deploy easy to scale and manage and delivers the best performance in the industry."

Orange Business CEO Aliette Mousnier-Lompre explained how the managed SASE solution helps organizations take a zero trust approach to cybersecurity:

"With more and more enterprises moving their operations to the cloud and taking a digital-first approach, our customers must adopt zero trust security. Converging networks and security in an agile, simple, and cost-effective way is what our customers demand. Together with Palo Alto Networks and Orange Cyberdefense, we are delivering a fully converged and managed SASE offering that delivers a positive impact for our global customers."

Orange Cyberdefense CEO Hugues Foulon commented on how the managed SASE solution helps organizations bolster their security across the threat lifecycle:

"Organizations are looking to securely adopt new technologies and modern ways of working without compromising security, visibility and end user experience. With many adopting a best-of-platform approach, we help our customers to simplify the delivery of consistent security at scale."
