Orca Security, an Israeli cloud security company founded by former Check Point Software Technologies executives Avi Shua and Gil Geron, has launched a Security Partner Program for solutions providers, cloud service providers (CSPs), and technology partners.
The solution provider focus area is designed for partners that are focused on projects or "managed outcomes," which suggests Orca plans to engage MSPs and MSSPs. Solution providers can access market development funds, training, sales support and other tools and resources via the Security Partner Program, Orca noted.
Also, CSPs can join the Security Partner Program to leverage Orca's SideScanning technology for instant-on security and compliance across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments, the company says.
In addition, the program is available to systems integrators, virtual CISOs and other types of partners.
Furthermore, Orca provides technology integrations that allow partners to incorporate ServiceNow, Splunk and other tools they currently use into a cloud service, the company stated. Orca also continues to seek partners to meet customer demand for cloud security solutions in the United States, Europe, Australia, Singapore and Japan.
Orca Funding Recap
The Security Partner Program comes after Orca in December 2020 raised $55 million in a Series B funding round, bringing its total financing to $82 million since 2018. Orca has been using the Series B funding to expand its research and development and sales teams and open new sales offices in the UK and Australia.
Orca specializes in cloud security posture management (CSPM), compliance management and workload and data protection. It offers a SaaS platform that provides agentless security and compliance for AWS, Azure and GCP.
