Presidio Partners with CrowdStrike, CloudEndure for Ransomware Mitigation

Presidio, a Top 250 MSSP and Top 250 Public Cloud MSP, has launched a Ransomware Mitigation Kit. The kit was developed in conjunction with endpoint detection and response (EDR) provider CrowdStrike and CloudEndure, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) company.

The kit surfaced at this week's AWS re:Invent 2021 conference in Las Vegas, which generated plenty of cloud security news.

The Ransomware Mitigation Kit lets organizations use Presidio, CrowdStrike and CloudEndure technologies to defend against ransomware and other cyberattacks, the companies said. The solution can predict, identify, detect and respond to ransomware attacks in real time, Presidio said.

The kit uses artificial intelligence and automation to provide organizations with visibility and breach protection across their digital assets, Presidio indicated. It helps organizations prevent lateral spread of ransomware across internal and external devices and allows them to reclaim and restore lost or compromised data and applications.

Presidio Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Services

Presidio is best-known as a mid-market IT solutions provider. But in recent years, CEO Bob Cagnazzi has expanded the company into digital transformation, multi-cloud, managed and cybersecurity services.

On the cyber front, Presidio launched a Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service in October 2021.

Organizations can use the MDR service to automatically detect and respond to threats, Presidio said. They can access a real-time dashboard to consolidate threat and risk alerts and leverage the service in conjunction with various cyber products.
