Radiant Logic, an identity data platform provider, has reached an agreement to purchase identity governance and analytics (IGA) company Brainwave GRC for an undisclosed sum.
This is technology M&A deal number 154 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2023.
Radiant, founded in 1995, is based in Novato, California. The company has 133 employees listed on LinkedIn. Radiant's areas of expertise include identity and access management (IAM) and identity unification.
Brainwave, founded in 2010, is based in Pays de la Loire, France. The company has 50 employees listed on LinkedIn. Brainwave's areas of expertise include IAG and identity and access intelligence.
What the Acquisition Means for Radiant Logic and Brainwave GRC
Brainwave will continue to operate as an independent entity in the near term, Radiant noted. Both companies will continue to provide platforms to their respective customers. These platforms will be "supported, invested in and integrated over time," Radiant stated.
Meanwhile, the acquisition will combine Radiant's identity data management expertise with Brainwave's identity analytics capabilities, the companies said. It will allow the businesses to incorporate their respective identity data and intelligence capabilities into a single platform. In doing so, the acquisition strengthens Radiant and Brainwave's market positions as identity, analytics and intelligence experts.
In addition, Radiant and Brainwave will deliver new solutions that offer artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities, the companies indicated. As a result, the companies are well equipped to capitalize on rising demand for IGA and IAM solutions in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Radiant Logic Boosts Its Revenues in 2022
The Brainwave acquisition comes after Radiant recorded its fourth consecutive year of profitable growth and an expanding customer base in 2022, according to a prepared statement. Radiant's milestones during the year included 20% year-over-year revenue growth and 95% customer retention rate.
Radiant is planning to make "significant new investments and advancements... to make identity radically simple, easy to manage and easy to protect," CEO Joe Sander said in January 2023. The company offers the RadiantOne Platform, which helps organizations get the most value out of their identity data. It also provides a partner program for MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers.
