Rubrik has unveiled new Rubrik Security Cloud user intelligence capabilities designed to help organizations "become more proactive in the fight against ongoing cyberattacks."
The company announced these capabilities at its Rubrik Forward virtual conference, which takes place May 17-18, 2023, according to a prepared statement.
Bipul Sinha, Rubrik's CEO, commented on the Rubrik Security Cloud user intelligence capabilities:
"For too long, organizations have been susceptible to cyberattacks, and users have become a vulnerable entry point. Today, we announce capabilities that we believe will enable our customers to become proactive and search for areas of vulnerability to mitigate cyber risk before the attack even happens."
How Rubrik Security Cloud's User Intelligence Capabilities Work
Organizations can access time-series data recorded over consistent intervals of time in Rubrik Security Cloud, the company said. They can get insights into the types of sensitive data they have, what users have access to this information, how that access has changed over time and whether that access may pose risks to their organization. From here, they can identify accidental exposure of data to unauthorized users and evaluate the root cause of cyberattacks.
Meanwhile, Rubrik is showcasing Rubrik Security Cloud's user intelligence capabilities and other innovations at Rubrik Forward. The company plans to release these innovations in the coming months.
Rubrik Partners with Zscaler, Ups Ransomware Recovery Warranty
The Rubrik Security Cloud user intelligence capabilities news comes after Rubrik in April 2023 unveiled an integration with Zscaler at the RSA Conference. This integration allows organizations to use the Zscaler Data Loss Prevention (DLP) product to identify sensitive data across their enterprise, cloud and SaaS environments. The Rubrik Sensitive Data Monitoring & Management application can discover and classify sensitive data out of band of their production environments, the companies said. It is expected to become generally available in the near future.
Rubrik announced plans to increase its Ransomware Recovery Warranty offering from $5 million to $10 million for recovery-related costs at the RSA Conference. As such, Rubrik provides a $10 million ransomware recovery warranty for its Rubrik Enterprise Edition and Rubrik Cloud Vault solutions.
Organizations can use the Rubrik Security Cloud to protect their data against cyberattacks. MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers can join Rubrik's Transform Partner Program to integrate the company's data protection offerings into their portfolios.
