Rubrik and Zscaler have unveiled an integration that combines data-at-rest intelligence with data-in-motion security to deliver end-to-end cybersecurity, according to the companies.
Commenting on the integration, Rubrik's co-founder and CEO Bipul Sinha said:

Integration on Display at RSA
The integration lets organizations use Zscaler Data Loss Prevention (DLP) to identify sensitive data across their enterprise, cloud and SaaS environments, Rubrik said. Meanwhile, the integration allows organizations to leverage the Rubrik Sensitive Data Monitoring & Management application to discover and classify sensitive data out of band of their production environments. As such, organizations can enforce their data protection policies across their sensitive data and prevent data loss.
The Rubrik-Zscaler integration is expected to be generally available in the coming months, Rubrik indicated. Rubrik is showcasing the integration at the 2023 RSA Conference, which takes place in San Francisco, California and runs through April 27.
Rubrik Ups Ransomware Recovery Warranty to $10 Million
Along with introducing its Zscaler integration at the RSA Conference, Rubrik has announced it is increasing its Ransomware Recovery Warranty offering from $5 million to $10 million for recovery-related costs.
Rubrik doubled its Ransomware Recovery Warranty in part due to the National Cybersecurity Strategy, which the White House unveiled on March 2, 2023, the company said. This strategy calls for the industry to "rebalance" to a shared responsibility for effective cyber defense.
Now, Rubrik provides a $10 million ransomware recovery warranty for Rubrik Enterprise Edition and Rubrik Cloud Vault. In doing so, Rubrik is ensuring that its "digital ecosystem is resilient and future ready," Sinha said.
Furthermore, Rubrik is showing its customers that stands with them to fight cybercrime and welcomes "the increase of shared accountability and responsibility in this new era of cybersecurity," Sinha added.
Rubrik specializes in zero trust data security. The company offers the Transform Partner Program for MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers. It will also host its Rubrik Forward virtual conference on May 17-18, 2023.
