SentinelOne and Wiz have developed an integration that empowers organizations to "quickly and easily identify, prioritize and fix cloud security threats more efficiently," according to a prepared statement.
The integration was previously announced in March 2023, and SentinelOne and Wiz now are making the integration available for early access at the 2023 RSA Conference this week in San Francisco, California.
commented on the integration, SentinelOne CEO Tomer Weingarten said:
"Successfully tackling today's increasingly complex security problems requires an end-to-end approach, and this groundbreaking offering enables it. Our integration with Wiz allows companies to seamlessly manage and protect their workloads across multiple clouds in ways that no other solution can and represents a significant step forward in our mission to prevent tomorrow's attacks today by making cloud security simpler, more effective and more accessible for organizations of all sizes."
What the SentinelOne-Wiz Integration Offers
Security teams can use the SentinelOne-Wiz integration to:
- Visualize their organizations' security posture
- Identify attack paths to cloud resources
- Prioritize and triage risks
- Protect cloud workloads against cyberattacks
- Reduce cloud incident mean time to detection and remediation
With the integration, security teams can use SentinelOne's cloud workload protection platform (CWPP) to detect a runtime threat to a cloud server or container and ingest relevant context from Wiz's cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP) about that cloud resource, the companies said. This helps security teams identify and address security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations and exposed secrets.
SentinelOne Provides Insights into Security Ecosystems, Offers AI for Threat Hunting
Along with offering early access to its Wiz integration, SentinelOne announced its Singular Security DataLake platform at the 2023 RSA Conference. Security teams can use the Singularity Security DataLake to "quickly uncover threats and respond to them in a real-time, intelligent and cost-efficient manner,” the company said. This platform offers orchestration and automation capabilities to help security teams analyze their organizations' security ecosystems and find ways to protect against cyber threats.
In addition, SentinelOne unveiled an artificial intelligence-powered threat-hunting platform at the RSA Conference. This platform utilizes multiple layers of AI technology to help security teams respond to cyberattacks, SentinelOne indicated.
SentinelOne provides cybersecurity products and services to over 10,000 customers. The company offers a partner program for MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers. It also provides the Singularity Marketplace, which enables technology providers to develop and launch Singularity XDR (eXtended detection and response) platform integrations.
