SolarWinds has added three executives to the IT management software company's executive team. They include:
- Rohini Kasturi, EVP, chief product officer;
- Tim Brown, chief information security officer (CISO); and
- Andrea Webb, SVP, chief customer officer.
Brown, previously VP of security at SolarWinds, was deeply involved in the Orion breach investigation, mitigation and recovery.
The three executives work closely with CEO Sudhakar Ramakrishna, who joined the company in January 2021. Ramakrishna described three SolarWinds security priorities during his first few days on the job. He's expected to share key learnings from the security breach during an RSA Conference 2021 virtual keynote in May 2021.
N-able: MSP Software Business Expected to Name CISO
Meanwhile, SolarWinds remains on track to spin-off N-able -- an MSP-focused software business -- in the first half of 2021. N-able, led by John Pagliuca, is expected to have a dedicated CISO well.
The SolarWinds Orion attacks did not target or hit N-able's software, according to an internal investigation as well as forensic findings from CrowdStrike and KPMG.
