Etisalat Digital, a telecommunications services provider that specializes in digital transformation for enterprises and governments, now offers SonicWall network security technology as part of its Business QuickStart broadband bundle for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
Etisalat provides SonicWall's next-generation firewalls with Comprehensive Gateway Security Suite and access to SonicWall's Capture Security Center, the companies said. In doing so, Etisalat delivers threat intelligence and analytics to SMBs in the United Arab Emirates and other regions.
In addition to its Etisalat partnership, SonicWall in June announced a partnership with ADT Cybersecurity, a Top 200 MSSP for 2019. ADT Cybersecurity leverages SonicWall technology to deliver a managed cybersecurity solution to SMBs.
Meanwhile, SonicWall previously introduced a midmarket sales strategy that included direct-touch engagements. It also looks poised to capitalize on rising demand for cybersecurity solutions among SMBs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
SMBs Prioritize IT Security
IT security ranked as a top business priority among most SMBs, according to the "2019 SMB IT Security Report" from network security provider Untangle. In the report, SMBs cited firewall/network security, antivirus/anti-malware and identity and access management (IAM) as the most important features relative to purchasing IT security solutions.
Furthermore, most SMEs planned to increase their cybersecurity budgets this year, a report from cloud security provider Armor revealed. The report showed that SMEs intend to increase their 2019 cybersecurity budgets by an average of 14 percent.
