Stellar Cyber, a Top 250 MSSP, has integrated its Open eXtended detection and response (XDR) platform into the Netskope secure access service edge (SASE) platform. Together, Stellar Cyber and Netskope enable MSSPs to use security data to get insights into customers' cyber risks and threats, the companies said.
With the integration, MSSPs can utilize Netskope's platform to generate insights into end-user traffic across custom apps and other sources. Meanwhile, Stellar Cyber Open XDR ingests, normalizes and analyzes Netskope data and other security data to identify potential threats, the companies indicated.
In addition, the integration utilizes Netskope and Stellar Cyber technologies to create "prioritized, investigation-ready incidents," the companies noted. The integration also automatically initiates response actions from third-party security products used in conjunction with it.
Stellar Cyber Unveils Deep Instinct, Malwarebytes Open XDR Integrations
The Netskope integration comes after Stellar Cyber in December 2022 incorporated Deep Instinct threat prevention capabilities into its Open XDR platform. MSSPs can use these capabilities to analyze user endpoints, servers and other network assets. As such, they can detect and prevent more than 99% of potential attacks, according to the companies.
Previously, Stellar Cyber in November 2022 integrated Malwarebytes' endpoint detection and response (EDR) solution into its Open XDR platform. MSSPs can utilize Malwarebytes EDR to collect threat information for analysis and investigation with Open XDR, the companies stated.
Cybersecurity "Jumpstart" With Open XDR
MSSPs can use Open XDR to identify and remediate threats and reduce their operating costs, Stellar Cyber indicated. Open XDR can help MSSPs achieve an eight-fold improvement in mean time to detect (MTTD) threats and 20-times improvement in mean time to respond (MTTR) to threats.
Stellar Cyber offers the Jumpstart Partner Program that enables MSSPs to leverage Open XDR. At least 15 MSSPs have joined the Jumpstart program.
