Telecom Firm Embraces Trustwave Managed Security Services

Trustwave, a Top 100 MSSP, has announced a partnership with Channel Islands and Isle of Man (CIIOM) telecommunications provider Sure. The MSSP now provides managed security services to help Sure customers house and protect their data.

Trustwave has developed a platform that will be deployed within Sure's Channel Island data centers that analyzes and correlates customer data against known and unknown threats and monitors and identifies security incidents in real-time, according to the companies. That way, Trustwave enables Sure customers to address information security threats before they escalate.

Meanwhile, Trustwave will deliver its managed security services to Sure customers via its global network of advanced security operations centers (ASOCs). These centers identify, track and collect cyber threat intelligence and are backed by Trustwave SpiderLabs ethical hackers, threat hunters, security researchers and incident responders.

What Does the Sure Partnership Mean for Trustwave?

Trustwave delivers cybersecurity and managed security services to customers in 96 countries, and the Sure partnership helps the MSSP further extend its global reach. It also could help Trustwave capitalize on the rising demand for cybersecurity and managed security services among telecommunications providers.

The global cybersecurity market's total value is projected to increase from $120 billion in 2017 to $300 billion by 2024, according to industry analyst Global Market Insights. Furthermore, the rising demand for cybersecurity and managed security services to protect sensitive customer data used for providing unified communication services is expected to help drive this market's growth.
