Trend Micro has released Trend Vision One – Endpoint Security, a solution that "unifies prevention, detection and response for user endpoints, servers, cloud workloads and data centers," according to the company.

The solution is now on the AWS Marketplace.

What Trend Vision One – Endpoint Security Offers

Trend Vision One – Endpoint Security uses the Trend Vision One platform to help organizations protect user endpoints, Trend Micro indicated.

With Trend Vision One, organizations can:

  • Use one security platform to secure their endpoints, servers and cloud workloads
  • Leverage threat prevention, detection and response capabilities to protect against current and emerging cyber threats
  • Use attack surface risk management (ASRM) capabilities with network, cloud and email data ingestion to quantify and reduce the risk of cyberattacks

Kevin Simzer, Trend Micro's chief operating officer, described how Trend Vision One – Endpoint Security fills a security need for organizations:

"Surging IT complexity is placing unprecedented demand on teams and providing determined adversaries with more opportunity to infiltrate an ever-expanding attack surface. In response to this challenge, our customers want to simplify security without compromising effectiveness. Trend Vision One – Endpoint Security is a direct answer to this need, helping IT and security organizations stop threats faster and take control of risk."

Trend Releases AI-Powered Cybersecurity Assistant

Trend Micro in June 2023 incorporated generative AI capabilities into Trend Vision One.

Organizations can use the Trend Vision One Companion generative AI-powered cybersecurity assistant to transform plain-language search queries into formal search syntax, Trend Micro indicated. They can then generate and execute queries and get information that they can use to respond to threats.

Companion provides plain-language explanations of cross-layer event alerts, attacker scripts and command lines and deep analysis and contextual AI-driven threat mitigation recommendations, Trend Micro said. It allows organizations to automate email, help-desk ticketing and incident reporting as well.

Trend Micro provides a cybersecurity platform that protects thousands of organizations and millions of individuals across clouds, networks, devices and endpoints, the company noted. It also offers a channel partner program that lets MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers use its platform to deliver multi-layered security.
