Vertek and Halcyon have developed the RansomMDR anti-ransomware managed detection and response (MDR) service, which lets organizations monitor for possible compromises and intrusions on endpoints, the company announced this week.
RansomMDR combines Halcyon's Anti-Ransomware Platform, the D3 Security Smart SOAR (security orchestration, automation and response) Platform and Vertek's proprietary custom security operations, threat hunting and threat intelligence, the companies said.
Here's what the service features:
- Threat detection and monitoring detects malicious activity across endpoints.
- Threat intelligence provides security operations center (SOC) analysts with context into threats.
- Incident response capabilities help contain and remediate threats, limit the impact of security incidents and speed up incident recovery.
- Reports and analytics track the effectiveness of their security measures and find ways to improve their security posture.
Vertek and Halcyon Help Organizations Protect Their Digital Assets
RansomMDR provides organizations with "a proactive, agile and resilient defense in an era where cyber risks are omnipresent," said Tommy Perniciaro, Halcyon's head of Solution Architecture.
In addition, RansomMDR supports Vertek's mission to ensure that its customers "have the right mix of security products and services to strengthen their cybersecurity defenses," COO Ron Hruby noted.
RansomMDR also enables organizations to leverage the latest security technologies and secure their digital assets against current and emerging threats, Hruby stated.
