Westcon-Comstor and Vectra AI Drive MSSP and AWS Marketplace Growth for Channel Partners

The Internet of Things (IoT) will include 26 billion units installed by 2020, Gartner predicts. By that time, IoT vendors and IT service providers will generate incremental revenue exceeding $300 billion, mostly from IT services, Gartner forecasts.

Channel partners across EMEA have new opportunities to scale their cybersecurity offerings, as Westcon-Comstor and Vectra AI announce the expansion of their collaboration through two targeted initiatives. These efforts aim to address growing demand for managed security services and cloud-based software procurement.

Targeting the MSSP Opportunity

As managed security services gain momentum, Westcon-Comstor and Vectra AI have introduced a joint support and enablement program tailored to MSSPs operating 24x7 Security Operations Centers (SOCs). The initiative focuses on helping MSSPs enhance their XDR (extended detection and response) capabilities, particularly for customers relying on endpoint detection and response (EDR). Participants gain access to tools and support designed to help them scale operations while maintaining control over licenses, deal registration, and quoting processes. The program builds on Vectra AI’s recently launched Clarity Program, which gives MSSPs flexibility in how they deliver XDR-based services, backed by predictable margins and customizable offerings.

Expanding in the Cloud with AWS Marketplace

In parallel, Vectra AI has joined Westcon-Comstor’s AWS Marketplace program, allowing channel partners to transact Vectra’s AI-driven XDR platform directly through private listings. This move enables a streamlined purchase and resale process entirely within AWS Marketplace, giving partners a frictionless experience. This cloud-based route to market is aligned with broader trends in enterprise software procurement. With cloud marketplace sales expected to reach $85 billion by 2028, and over half of those sales projected to flow through the channel, this initiative positions partners to take advantage of a shifting procurement landscape.

Continued Strategic Expansion Across EMEA

These initiatives are part of a wider collaboration between Westcon-Comstor and Vectra AI, following the geographic expansion of their partnership last year. The agreement now includes the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics, adding to an existing footprint that spans key European and African markets. By combining efforts in the MSSP space and the cloud marketplace, Westcon-Comstor and Vectra AI are enabling partners adapt to changes in how customers consume cybersecurity solutions—whether through managed services or flexible, digital procurement models.
