CrowdStrike, an endpoint protection platform provider, has unveiled new integrations for various Amazon Web Services (AWS) compute and cloud services.
The integrations are designed to help development, security and operations (DevSecOps) teams leverage the CrowdStrike Falcon endpoint security platform in combination with AWS compute and cloud services to identify security issues in the early stages of the development lifecycle, according to a prepared statement.
The new CrowdStrike-AWS integrations include:
- Amazon WorkSpaces: Offers machine learning, exploit prevention and behavioral detections for Amazon WorkSpaces desktop-as-a-service (DaaS) users.
- Bottlerocket: Delivers run-time protection and endpoint detection and response (EDR) visibility for containers running on virtual machines or bare metal hosts.
- AWS Control Tower: Ensures that users can leverage Falcon Workload Protection for protection and visibility across Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) resources.
- AWS Graviton: Provides protection and visibility across Amazon EC2 A1 instances powered by AWS Graviton Processors, along with C6g, M6g and R6g Amazon EC2 instances based on Graviton2 Processors.
- AWS PrivateLink: Allows users to access sensor-to-cloud traffic via AWS hosted instances.
The AWS integrations come as CrowdStrike continues to enhance its partnerships with Okta, Proofpoint and other cybersecurity companies and build out an online store. Furthermore, CrowdStrike recently launched the CrowdStrike Developer Portal to encourage MSSPs and other channel partners to use the company's APIs to develop and launch applications and integrations.
CrowdStrike recorded $199 million in revenue in the second quarter of fiscal 2021, up 84 percent year over year. It also will host its Fal.Con 2020 virtual cybersecurity conference in October 2020.
