MKACyber, a Virginia-based MSSP that specializes in enterprise and government security operations and consulting services, has secured $4.1 million in Series A financing. The company also named several heavy hitters to its board of directors.
MKACyber, led by US-CERT and RSA Security veteran Mischel Kwon as CEO, intends to use the Series A funding to bolster its business, sales and channel initiatives, customer support and marketing activities, MKACyber said in a prepared statement.

These cybersecurity leaders are expected to assist MKACyber as the company looks to expand its solutions portfolio, according to the business.
Furthermore, MKACyber now boasts many years of "feet on the street" experience to help enterprise and government organizations address their security operations challenges, Ridge said in a company statement.
