Cybereason, an eXtended detection and response (XDR) security platform provider, has announced the "Pay as you Grow" program (PAYG) to provide MSSP partners with more financial flexibility.
The program leverages a monthly billing model based on the number of endpoint sensors in use. It also offers a licensing model and various support resources and incentives. Elite and Premier Cybereason MSSP partners can join the PAYG program, the company noted. They can access several tiers to grow their businesses based on their short- and long-term goals.
Moreover, MSSPs can integrate Cybereason's behavioral analytics and process automation capabilities into their managed security and consulting services, the company said.
Cybereason: Additional XDR Security Moves
The PAYG program announcement comes after Cybereason and Google Cloud in December 2021 launched the Cybereason XDR powered by Google Chronicle platform.
Cybereason provides its XDR platform to customers in 40 countries. It raised $275 million in funding in July 2021 and has secured $664 million in financing to date.
No doubt, the XDR market is growing rapidly but competition also has intensified. More than nine in 10 organizations were either working on an XDR project or planning an XDR investment by late 2021, according to an ESG Research survey sponsored by security provider Hunters. Amid that market reality, just about every type of security company -- endpoint, network and cloud -- has been marching toward XDR capabilities.
With an eye toward the XDR sector, Cybereason launched a global partner program in July 2021.
