Ingram Micro has agreed to distribute Stellar Cyber's Open XDR security platform to partners, the two companies disclosed today.
Ingram Micro partners can use Stellar Cyber's Open XDR platform to deliver security operations center-as-a-service (SOCaaS) and managed detection and response-as-a-service (MDRaaS).
Furthermore, the XDR platform can be used in conjunction with any security tools and telemetry, Stellar Cyber asserts. The result: Ingram Micro partners can consolidate security data from multiple sources and generate insights from it.
Stellar Cyber Business Milestones
This is the latest in a growing list of Stellar Cyber business developments. Earlier moves include:
- Unveiling Stellar Cyber Central, which provides MSSPs with access to multiple Open XDR customer sites with a single sign-on. MSSPs can use Stellar Cyber Central to view potential cyber threats across customer sites from a single console and under a single license, the company indicated.
- Adding Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) capabilities to Open XDR. This allows Open XDR users to automatically collect and aggregate feeds from various sources into a single consolidated threat intelligence resource, the company said.
- Integrating with Swimlane's SOAR (security orchestration, automation and response) software platform.
- Launching a formalized MSSP partner program, led by VP of Service Providers Brian Stoner.
Ingram Micro Cybersecurity Partnerships
Ingram Micro, meanwhile, works with a growing list of security companies that target MSP and MSSP partners. On the SOCaaS front, the distributor has relationships with Arctic Wolf Networks and Binary Defense.
