Castle Ventures, an MSSP that specializes in data and infrastructure security, has adopted the Siemplify ThreatNexus security operations and incident response platform to drive security orchestration of its ArcSight Managed Solutions practice.

ThreatNexus extends the capabilities of ArcSight deployments, Castle Ventures said. It provides Castle Ventures and its customers' security operations center (SOC) teams with security orchestration tools to help increase efficiency and effectiveness across the threat management lifecycle, the company stated.

What Is ArcSight?

ArcSight provides organizations with a managed solution designed to maximize the effectiveness and value of security information and event management (SIEM) deployments, Castle Ventures said. It helps organizations monitor, analyze, assess and respond to the network security threat landscape, Castle Ventures stated, and defend against various cyber threats.

Castle Ventures is a certified ArcSight Professional Services Partner that offers support and maintenance of ArcSight environments. Going forward, the company will leverage ThreatNexus to accelerate its ArcSight triage, assessment and threat response capabilities, according to a prepared statement.

In addition, ThreatNexus automatically unifies disparate enterprise security tools and enables Castle Ventures and its customers "to connect the dots and respond to all types of threats while injecting automation and orchestration for greater efficiencies," the company indicated.

Siemplify Launches ThreatNexus 2.0

Siemplify, meanwhile, has been active on the R&D front. The company in July unveiled ThreatNexus 2.0, which features business intelligence, graph visualization and assorted security capabilities to improve incident response, the company said.

ThreatNexus 2.0 is designed to help SOC teams respond to advanced cyber threats. It also empowers MSSPs and enterprises to "keep up with the volume of security alerts, maintain the right skills and manage manual processes, Siemplify CEO Amos Stern noted.

Siemplify integrates data science and applied mathematics into ThreatNexus to help MSSPs and enterprises reduce alerts, increase analyst efficiency and accelerate incident response. It drives security operations improvements, the company said, and ensures SOC teams can deliver measurable return on investment (ROI) across their security investments.
