Check Point Software Technologies has established a Cyber Center educational hub that anyone can attend for free at its headquarters in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Here, people can access cybersecurity videos and exhibits that explain how and why cyberattacks happen, the company said. As such, the center raises awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and how people can stop cyberattacks.

The center covers the history of cybersecurity since its inception, the evolution of cyber threats and innovations in technology that have helped to combat them, Check Point stated. It also highlights Check Point's founders, Gil Shwed and Marius Nacht, and their contributions to the cybersecurity industry.

Check Point Expands Partnership with Intel, Offers Support to Cybersecurity Startups in Israel

The Cyber Center announcement comes after Check Point in December 2022 integrated the Intel vPro platform's Threat Detection Technology (TDT) into the Check Point Harmony Endpoint solution. This integration provides organizations with "processor-level anti-ransomware security at both the hardware and software levels," Check Point indicated.

Previously, Check Point in November 2022 launched the CyberUp program to support Israel's cybersecurity startups. The program provides these startups with access to market opportunities and potential investors, the company noted.

Check Point Explores Cybersecurity Partnerships

Network Perception, a network audit, compliance and security software provider, in November 2022 announced a partnership with Check Point. Organizations can use Network Perception and Check Point technologies in conjunction with one another for continuous verification and visualization of the security posture, the companies noted.

Check Point recorded $578 million in revenue in the third quarter of 2022, which represented an 8% year-over-year increase. During the quarter, Check Point introduced a partner program that enables MSSPs to use its Horizon security operations suite to boost their earnings and protect their customers against cyberattacks. Check Point also continues to provide a partner program that lets MSSPs use its security products and solutions to deliver network security, managed detection and response (MDR) and other security services.
