Threat intelligence platform provider Anomali and the Natural Gas Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ONG-ISAC) are working together to protect oil and natural gas critical infrastructure organizations against cyber threats.
ONG-ISAC coordinates the protection of exploration and production, transportation, refining and delivery systems across the ONG industry, Anomali said in a prepared statement. It also analyzes and shares vulnerability and threat activity and other cyber threat information with critical infrastructure organizations.
Anomali Offers Threat Intelligence Platform to ONG-ISAC Members
ONG-ISAC member security analysts can use the Anomali Platform to access cyber intelligence and identify cybercriminals that target critical infrastructure organizations, Anomali said. The Anomali Platform provides insights into cybercriminals and their tactics and techniques. It ensures that ONG-ISAC member security analysts can access signals of cyberattacks and use them to detect and respond to threats.
In addition, Anomali will provide each ONG-ISAC member with a dedicated threat intelligence management environment, the company noted. This helps ONG-ISAC members curate cyber intelligence and investigate cyberattack trends.
ONG-ISAC Executive Director Angela Haun commented on the center's partnership with Anomali:
"Anomali has a strong reputation for helping critical infrastructure organizations detect and respond to global adversaries. We look forward to partnering with them to protect our members' networks, control systems, facilities, assets and people."
Anomali CMO Mark Alba added:
"Anomali is proud to partner with ONG-ISAC and support its many members in their fight against today's most persistent adversaries."
Anomali Partners with Cybermindz, Canon IT Solutions
The ONG-ISAC partnership comes after Anomali in April 2023 joined forces with Cybermindz, a nonprofit organization focused on providing mental health support to cyber teams.
Anomali sponsored the inaugural Cybermindz Mental Health in Cybersecurity Leadership Summit, which took place April 24, 2023 in San Francisco, California.
Also, Anomali and Cybermindz are providing services and other resources to cybersecurity professionals that are experiencing burnout, stress and other job-related issues that impact their emotional and cognitive health, Anomali said.
Previously, Anomali in March 2023 released a threat intelligence platform in conjunction with Canon IT Solutions, a division of the Canon Marketing Japan Group. This platform provides Canon IT Solutions customers with insights into cybercriminals, trending tactics and information-based security measures, the companies stated.
Anomali's threat intelligence platform helps organizations transform their security, boost their productivity and lower their operating costs, the business said.
Meanwhile, Anomali provides a partner program that lets MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers incorporate its platform's capabilities into their offerings.
