FireEye, the cybersecurity and malware protection solutions provider, has added the MalwareGuard machine learning-based threat detection and prevention engine to its Endpoint Security offering.
MalwareGuard helps Endpoint Security customers stop cyberattacks and protect their sensitive data and intellectual property, according to a prepared statement.
MalwareGuard works in conjunction with FireEye's ExploitGuard (behavior-based), Malware Protection (signature-based) and IOC (intelligence-based) Endpoint Security engines, FireEye stated. Together, these engines enable organizations to use Endpoint Security to investigate and respond to endpoint attacks.
Also, MalwareGuard identifies and blocks emerging endpoint threats, FireEye said. It simultaneously safeguards organizations against advanced cyber threats, stops cyberattacks and protects customer information.
Endpoint Security customers can access MalwareGuard at no additional cost.
FireEye Updates Its Endpoint Security Solution
In addition to the MalwareGuard launch, FireEye has introduced the Helix security operations platform for Endpoint Security. Helix offers threat intelligence, automation and case management capabilities to help organizations address incidents, FireEye noted.
Furthermore, FireEye has added the following capabilities to Endpoint Security:
- Alert Workflow Update: Offers alert context to help organizations speed up incident response.
- Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM): Provides authentication capabilities for cloud environments.
- Policy Manager: Enables organizations to develop and deploy security policies to manage multiple levels of access.
The new Endpoint Security features are now available.
