MSSP M&A: Fujitsu Acquires CrowdStrike Partner, Netskope Security Partner InPhySec

Fujitsu has acquired InPhySec, an MSSP and security consultancy firm based in New Zealand. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

This is technology M&A deal number 838 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2022.

InPhySec, founded in 2015, has 56 employees listed on LinkedIn. The MSSP's areas of expertise include:

  • Endpoint, partnering with CrowdStrike
  • Cloud, partnering with NetSkope
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • SOC (security operations center) and SIEM (security information and event management), leveraging the Mitre ATT&CK matrix.
  • Incident response.

Additional partners include Vectra AI for network detection and response, and AttackIQ for security control validation.

Fujitsu Acquires MSSP: Executive Perspectives

InPhySec CEO Marc Barlow will report to Graeme Beardsell, executive VP and CEO, Fujitsu Asia Pacific.

In a prepared statement about the deal, Beardsell said:

This acquisition will help introduce New Zealand homegrown developed know-how and capability to a global audience.”
