Netsurion: MSPs Operate 50% of Company’s SD-WAN Devices

Over 2,500 Netsurion software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) edge devices have been installed since March 2018, according to the company. In addition, MSPs operate approximately 50 percent of these devices.

Netsurion merged with EventTracker in 2016. Since that time, Netsurion has made several moves to expand its cybersecurity market presence, including:

  • Netsurion Launches SD-WAN Solution: Netsurion announced its Netsurion Connect SD-WAN solution in March 2018; Netsurion Connect is designed to help organizations comply with data security mandates and safeguard their networks.
  • Netsurion Introduces MSP Bundle: Netsurion in October unveiled an MSP-focused package built around Netsurion Connect; the package enables MSPs to integrate SD-WAN-as-a-service into their portfolios.
  • Netsurion Consolidates EDR, SIEM Technologies into a Managed Security Service: Netsurion in February launched EventTracker EDR, a managed endpoint threat detection and response (EDR) solution available as part of a security information and event management (SIEM) platform.

Furthermore, Netsurion in February introduced BranchSDO, an all-in-one solution that allows MSPs to manage branch offices and organizations with roughly 150 seats or fewer. Netsurion also continues to explore ways to upgrade its corporate brand and associated solutions.

What Does the Future Hold for Netsurion?

Netsurion is expanding its vision of "cybersecurity convergence," the company noted. In doing so, Netsurion will align its network and security operations for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with EventTracker integrations.

Meanwhile, the Netsurion Partner Program allows MSPs, MSSPs and value-added resellers (VARs) to deliver secure network solutions, the company stated. It also provides channel partners with marketing, sales and order management tools and resources.
