Okta, a single sign-on (SSO) and identity and access management (IAM) solutions provider, now enables KPMG Cyber Security Services customers to use the Okta Identity Cloud to design, implement and automate IAM processes.
The companies this week announced a partnership that allows KPMG to provide its customers with enterprise and consumer IAM solutions that protect critical data and streamline employee and consumer data access, according to both companies.
A Closer Look at the Okta-KPMG Partnership
With the Okta-KPMG partnership, KPMG customers can leverage the Okta Identity Cloud to simultaneously manage, control and secure enterprise and consumer access to data and reduce their operating costs.
The partnership also provides KPMG customers with access to the following Okta Identity Cloud capabilities:
- SSO for cloud and on-premises applications.
- Multi-factor authentication.
- Automatic provisioning to create accounts for new employees.
- Ability to embed Okta as the identity layer of an app for customer IAM or customize Okta for any use case.
The Okta Identity Cloud is an integrated cloud identity platform designed for every type of user. It enables organizations to secure and manage their operations and transform their customers' experiences, Okta stated.
Okta: Here's What You Need to Know
Okta is an independent provider of enterprise SSO and IAM solutions. The company boasts over 5,500 pre-built integrations to applications and infrastructure providers and supports over 4,000 organizations worldwide.
Meanwhile, Okta recorded $260 million in total revenue in fiscal year 2018, which represented a 62 percent year-over-year increase. The company also projects total revenue of $343 to $348 million in FY19; this total would represent a year-over-year increase between 33 and 35 percent.
Okta works closely with technology partners, solution providers and service partners.
In addition to the KPMG partnership, Okta last month announced a partnership with SailPoint, an identity governance and cloud management software provider. Together, Okta and SailPoint provide organizations with "an even stronger identity solution that securely and effectively authenticates, provisions and governs access to all applications and data across the enterprise," the companies said in a prepared statement.
Furthermore, Okta will pursue "more and more partners internationally in Europe and the Asia-Pacific ... in the quarters and years ahead," founder Frederic Kerrest said during his company's FY18 earnings call.
