Augmentt has introduced SaaS Security Alerting for Microsoft 365 for its Augmentt Secure SaaS security and management solution for MSPs.
SaaS Security Alerts provides near-real-time alerting across Microsoft 365 environments, Augmentt said. It lets MSPs use a single dashboard to detect and address threats across these environments. SaaS Security Alerts also provides MSPs with insights into the security posture of Microsoft 365 environments.
In addition, Augmentt is offering 100 free licenses of Augmentt Secure through Oct. 30, 2022.
Free Community Software, Cyber Insurance Programs
The Augmentt Secure with SaaS Security Alerts for Microsoft 365 announcement comes after the company in July 2022 launched a Free Community Software Program. MSPs and IT professionals can join the program to access the Augmentt Email & Notification Console and Augmentt Security Auditing Tool for Salesforce, and use the Augmentt Email Alert & Notification Console to monitor security alerts, the company said.
In June 2022, Augmentt created a Cyber Insurance Program in conjunction with SeedPod Cyber. The program gives MSPs access to cyber insurance for data breaches, ransomware attacks and loss of income due to cyber incidents, Augmentt said. Also, SeedPod offers MSPs using Augmentt Discover and Augmentt Secure up to 40% off the cost of cyber insurance for the customers they serve.

Augmentt is a SaaS security and management software provider with a go-to-market strategy that focuses purely on MSPs. It is led by CEO Derik Belair and Chairman Gavin Garbutt — two N-able veterans. MSPs can use Augmentt's solutions to discover, manage and secure their customers' SaaS applications, the company said. Augmentt Secure lets MSPs run security threat reports for customers, enforce and monitor security policies and receive security alerts via email or professional services automation (PSA) platform. Meanwhile, Augmentt Discover allows MSPs to identify and secure SaaS applications across customer environments.
Augmentt provides a partner program that lets MSPs integrate its solutions into their offerings. The company looks poised to explore new MSP partnerships in the months and years to come.
