RFA Introduces Co-Managed Security Operations Center for MSPs

Share

RFA, a company that provides cybersecurity and IT services for investment management firms, has launched the Security-Platform-as-a-Service (SPaaS) offering for managed service providers (MSPs). SPaaS enables MSPs to incorporate managed security services into their portfolios via a co-managed security operations center (SOC) model, the company said.

SPaaS is built on RFA's Automated Incident Response Engine (AiRE) and the Seceon aiSIEM security information and event management (SIEM) platform, according to RFA. It empowers MSPs with a variety of security capabilities, including:

  • Automated threat response.
  • Compliance reporting and auditing.
  • Real-time threat alerts.
  • Third-party workflow and remediation support.

Furthermore, MSPs can deploy SPaaS across three service models:

  • Co-Managed Security: Includes IT infrastructure, partner professional services automation (PSA) system integration support, night and weekend SOC monitoring and security escalations and SOC compliance reporting.
  • Hosted aiSIEM + AiRE: Enables RFA's MSP partners to integrate aiSIEM and AiRE into their existing systems.
  • Security-as-a-Service (SECaaS): Includes full IT infrastructure, partner professional services automation ticketing system integration support and full white-labeled SOC support.

SPaaS is now available.

Other RFA Cybersecurity Services Are Available

In addition to SPaaS, RFA offers a variety of managed security services, including:

  • Managed Detection and Response (MDR): Uses artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and threat intelligence to identify and contain cyber risks.
  • Security Application Management: Enables investment management firms to prioritize assets, identify the areas of highest risk and focus on managing and mitigating these risks accordingly.
  • Vulnerability Scanning and Remediation: Offers round-the-clock vulnerability scanning, as well as real-time threat alerting and remediation.

RFA also provides vendor risk monitoring, regulatory readiness assessments and other managed IT compliance services as part of its cybersecurity portfolio.

SOCs for MSPs

Multiple companies are attempting to offer SOC as a Service to MSPs. Key names to know include:

As we've pointed out, the SOCaaS market continues to grow rapidly — though no single technology company has emerged as a de facto SOC supplier to MSPs and MSSPs.
