CTG, part of the Cegeka Group, is expanding its cybersecurity footprint with the launch of new cyber resilience solutions and the introduction of a U.S.-based Security Operations Center (SOC) in Buffalo, New York. The move brings Cegeka’s Modern SOC capabilities to American enterprises, offering around-the-clock threat detection, response, and recovery as part of a global network designed to tackle today’s evolving cyber risks.
By enhancing its managed cybersecurity offerings, CTG aims to support organizations—particularly mid-sized firms—with limited in-house security expertise. The new SOC location extends the company’s follow-the-sun service model, offering localized support while tapping into Cegeka’s broader global intelligence and operations. These capabilities are delivered through a managed services model that helps companies navigate cybersecurity skills shortages and build operational resilience.
The Cegeka Modern SOC differs from traditional setups by combining automation with human-led operations, helping teams move beyond passive threat monitoring to a more active response and recovery stance. With a foundation in the Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) framework, CTG’s Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service streamlines incident handling and improves time-to-response.
Beyond the SOC, CTG has rolled out several new offerings. Its CISO Office-as-a-Service provides strategic security leadership for companies that lack internal expertise, while identity-first security services like PAM, CIAM, and IGA offer targeted controls across users and systems. These additions also support the shift toward Zero Trust models, enabling organizations to better secure remote and hybrid environments.
As part of Cegeka’s global cybersecurity network, CTG is aligning international best practices with U.S. market demands—especially in sectors like healthcare and energy. The expansion represents a coordinated effort to help organizations adapt to modern threats with scalable, managed security services rooted in both local expertise and global capabilities.
