Exabeam Eyes Asia-Pacific Expansion, Records 100% YoY Growth

Share

Exabeam, a security information and event management (SIEM) platform provider, is making a "significant investment" in its operations across the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region, according to a prepared statement. As part of this investment, Exabeam is localizing its product offerings for the Japanese market and is planning its first release later this quarter.

The investment comes after Exabeam recorded 100 percent year-over-year growth in the APJ region for the fiscal year ending January 2020. Exabeam also has tripled its workforce in the region and more than doubled its team in Japan.

Along with its investment in its APJ operations, Exabeam this month partnered with Orca Technology, a value-added distributor that supports customers in Australia and New Zealand.

With the partnership, Orca Tech recruits and trains channel partners to support Exabeam's growth throughout Australia and New Zealand, the companies said. Exabeam also enables Orca Tech to use its SIEM capabilities to help organizations automate security investigations and response and track lateral movement across compromised accounts.

What Does the Future Hold for Exabeam?

Exabeam closed 2019 with billings that exceeded $100 million. Furthermore, Exabeam offers its Cloud SaaS solution for hosting in 15 locations across 13 regions and looks poised to capitalize on the rising demand for SIEM solutions worldwide.

The global SIEM market is expected to expand at a 5.5 percent compound annual growth rate between 2020 and 2025, industry analyst MarketsandMarkets has projected. This market also could be worth approximately $5.5 billion by 2025.
