Matrix42, a workspace management service provider, is partnering with enSilo to push into managed security services. Specifically, Matrix42 will integrate enSilo's Endpoint Security Platform capabilities into its digital workspace security suite, according to a prepared statement.
It's an intriguing move considering Matrix42's customer footprint. The company already offers workspace management to more than 3,000 customers globally. Those customers, in turn, represent more than 3 million workstations across mobile, physical and virtual environments.
The enSilo partnership enables Matrix42 to provide a variety of enSilo endpoint protection services to help safeguard customers' servers, workstations and virtual instances, and these services include:
- Endpoint detection and response (EDR).
- Incident response.
- Managed next-generation antivirus.
- Threat hunting.
- Virtual patching.
Matrix42 also will have the ability to sell enSilo's single, cloud-controlled endpoint security platform in central Europe, the company indicated.
Initially, Matrix42 will offer the enSilo platform as a standalone solution, the company said. The enSilo platform eventually will be integrated into Matrix42's proprietary products as well.
What Does the Partnership Mean for Both Companies?
The enSilo-Matrix42 partnership ultimately could prove to be beneficial for both companies.
With the enSilo platform integration, Matrix42 will be able to offer an enhanced endpoint security platform to its customers, the company said in a prepared statement. The integration also provides Matrix42 with access to new revenue streams and improved margin capabilities, the company indicated.
Furthermore, enSilo offers endpoint security solutions to help stop ransomware, targeted malware and fileless infections in real-time, Matrix42 Oliver Bendig stated. The company empowers Matrix42 with the ability to stop breaches pre- and post-infection, Bendig said, and meet the demands of its customers and partners in the European market.
