Proficio Unveils Cyber Risk Scoring, Executive Dashboards for Customers

Share

Proficio, a Top 100 MSSP for 2017 that offers managed detection and response (MDR), log monitoring and other cybersecurity services, has added ThreatInsight risk scoring to its ProView Plus customer portal.

ThreatInsight provides visibility into security gaps to help organizations optimize their cybersecurity investments and minimize cyber risk, according to a prepared statement. It leverages analytics to reveal blind spots in an organization's security controls and identifies and scores threats based on the cyber kill chain.

Furthermore, ThreatInsight offers recommendations on how to improve an organization's security posture, Proficio said. ThreatInsight also allows an organization to see how its score compares to Proficio's customer base and industry.

In addition to ThreatInsight, ProView Plus now provides executive dashboards that empower organizations with the ability to investigate security alerts, review device behavior, search security log sources, create reports and handle case management and escalations, according to Proficio.

ProView Plus executive dashboards are interactive and customizable with investigative workflows, Proficio noted. They also provide a high-level overview of an organization's security posture.

What Is Proficio?

Proficio was founded in 2010 and offers automated response, advanced threat detection and other cybersecurity services. The company has recorded 29 consecutive quarters of revenue growth and provides three types of cybersecurity services:

  • Fully Managed: A security information and event management (SIEM) service used to monitor and protect data and applications stored in cloud infrastructure.
  • Co-Managed/Hybrid: An SIEM service designed to help an organization simultaneously reduce false-positive alerts and maintain its own cybersecurity program.
  • Custom: A service that allows an organization to choose from a variety of professional services to build its own cybersecurity program.

The Proficio Synergy Partner Program is available to managed service providers (MSPs), systems integrators (SIs) and value-added resellers (VARs). This program provides access to marketing, sales and technical tools and resources and enables channel partners to offer Proficio's cybersecurity services to customers.

Proficio also manages security operations centers (SOCs) in California, Spain and Singapore and continues to expand globally. The company last month opened a facility in Melbourne, Australia to provide its cybersecurity services and infrastructure in the Australian market.
