1. Managed Detection and Response (MDR): IronOrbit, an information and communications technology (ICT) provider, has selected CrowdStrike as its preferred partner for managed endpoint detection and response services.
2. Launch MSSP: DOT Security, a new MSSP, has opened a security operations center (SOC) in Mettawa, Illinois. The company plans to expand across the Midwest and West Coast. Key services include endpoint security, secure data protection, identity and access management, cybersecurity consulting, compliance services, network security monitoring, edge security, and backup and disaster recovery.
3. Executive Exit - Spying Software: The CEO-designate of NSO Group has resigned citing the Israeli spyware company's blacklisting by the U.S. Commerce Department, Reuters reported.
4. Investment - Risk Management: TA Associates has invested in Riskconnect, which develops integrated risk management technology. Private equity firm Thoma Bravo retains a "significant equity investment" in Riskconnect.
5. SASE and SD-WAN: AT&T has launched AT&T SASE with Cisco -- a converged network and security management solution that "connects and protects enterprises with software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN) technology and security capabilities," AT&T asserts.
6. SD-WANs: FlexIP Solutions, a nationwide provider of custom managed communications solutions for businesses, has launched Flex Networking, a managed service that "enables always-on Internet for businesses," the company indicated.
7. Unified Security: SonicWall has unified its cloud, virtual and hardware offerings across a single cloud-powered platform, the security company asserted.
8. AWS Marketplace Gains Security Solutions: Hunters Open XDR and Netscout's cybersecurity solutions are now available in the AWS Marketplace, the companies said in separate announcements.
