Wipro IT Services, Demisto Launch Incident Response Managed Security Services

IT and business process services company Wipro Partners and security orchestration software provider Demisto together are delivering integrated and automated incident response as a managed security service.

The companies recently announced a partnership to combine Wipro's Cyber Threat Management Platform with Demisto's incident response solution.

A Closer Look at the Wipro-Demisto Partnership

The partnership provides security operations teams with security orchestration, incident management and interactive investigation capabilities, Demisto said in a prepared statement.

It enables security operations teams to leverage Demisto's automation and security orchestration tools to reduce mean time to respond (MTTR), create consistent and audited incident management processes and increase analyst productivity, according to Demisto.

The partnership also allows security operations teams to leverage Wipro's Cyber Threat Management Platform to help identify and address cyber threats quickly.

"Demisto's automation and security orchestration capabilities combined with Wipro's deep expertise in managing customers' security infrastructure enables customers to respond to threats faster and reduce risk and security operations ," Sheetal Mehta, Wipro's vice president and global head of cybersecurity and risk services, said in a prepared statement.

Demisto, Guidance Software Partner

Demisto has been active on the partner front. For instance, Forensic security company Guidance Software and Demisto in March launched an integration to help security operations teams orchestrate incident response across multiple security products.

The integration was designed to help security operations teams save time and resources and ensure forensic-grade remediation of threats, Demisto noted.

"Our integration with Guidance enables customers to streamline critical incident response processes to speed final remediation and free resources for other security tasks," Demisto co-founder Rishi Bhargava said in a prepared statement.

Wipro Ventures Invests in Demisto

Demisto in February closed a $20 million Series B funding round that featured participation from Wipro Ventures, the investment arm of Wipro. Other Series B funding round investors included Accel and Slack Fund.

The Series B funding round brought Demisto's total financing to $26 million. In addition, Demisto said it would use the Series B funds to drive new product innovation and ramp up its sales and marketing efforts.

Meta Description: India-based IT services company Wipro & Demisto security orchestration partner to provide integrated & automated incident response as a managed service.
