MSSP Abacode Opens Second Las Vegas Security Operations Center

Abacode, a Top 200 MSSP, has opened its second 24/7 security operations center (SOC) in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to a prepared statement.

The new SOC helps Abacode provide redundant capabilities to its customers and partners, the company said. It also supports Abacode's mission to empower organizations with endpoint detection and response (EDR), security information and event management (SIEM) and other security services, the company said.

Along with its new SOC, Abacode has made key hires and raised funding. In March 2020, the company named Greg Chevalier as its SVP of partner development and sales strategy. Chevalier has over two decades of cybersecurity industry experience and is expected to help Abacode grow its partner channels and drive its go-to-market strategy, the company stated.

Furthermore, Abacode in January 2020 raised $4.85 million in Series A funding. Abacode said it planned to use the funding to expand its SOC, sales and project execution teams.
