Allurity, backed by private equity firm Trill Impact, has acquired Aiuken Cybersecurity, a Top 40 MDR security provider in Europe. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
This is technology M&A deal number 837 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2022.
M&A Drives European MDR Security Expansion
Aiuken Cybersecurity, founded in 2012, is based in Spain. The company has 120 employees and more than 300 customers. Key areas of expertise include MDR (managed detection and response) and SOC (security operations center) as a service.
Aiuken has eight SOC locations across four continents and seven countries -- including Spain, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Chile, Côte d'Ivoire and Puerto Rico. Aiuken CEO Juan Miguel Velasco will continue to lead the business under Allurity's ownership.
Meanwhile, Allurity is a group of cybersecurity service providers funded by Trill Impact. The company previously acquired Swedish companies Arctic Group, ID North and Pulsen IAM. Additional acquisitions are planned, the buyer said, though specific details were not disclosed.
