AT&T Cybersecurity and Fortinet have launched AT&T Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) with Fortinet, a global managed SASE solution that blends software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) capabilities with network security functions.
Organizations can leverage AT&T SASE with Fortinet to provide end-users with low-latency access to applications hosted at a data center or in the cloud, the company said. They also can use AT&T SASE with Fortinet to apply unified security policies across their networks.
How Does AT&T SASE with Fortinet Work?
AT&T SASE with Fortinet is integrated with AT&T's Alien Labs Threat Intelligence platform, according to the company. It provides security operations center (SOC) analysts with visibility into network security to help them respond to alerts.
Key features of AT&T SASE with Fortinet include:
- Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB): Offers visibility into cloud-based application usage
- Firewall-as-a-Service: Protects network users and assets against cyber threats
- SD-WAN: Provides visibility into network circuits across various locations and the ability to manage data flows
- Secure Web Gateway: Secures users around the world and ensures that the sites they visit are both safe and appropriate
- Zero Trust Network Access: Ensures access to applications can be defined by role or user
Also, AT&T SASE with Fortinet provides access to deployment, policy design, maintenance and other managed services, the company indicated. In doing so, organizations can use these services to minimize the burden of implementing and leverage AT&T SASE with Fortinet on their IT teams.
AT&T SASE with Fortinet is now available. In addition, AT&T intends to update AT&T SASE with Fortinet during the year.
