EY, a Top 100 MSSP for 2017, has launched a new, predictive analytics-based service to help its clients manage cybersecurity risk and monitor regulatory compliance.
The integrated management platform, suitably dubbed EY Risk Navigator, is built on top of SAP’s cloud platform-as-a-service offering. The consultancy is positioning the SAP-certified technology as the amalgam of its industry-specific experience relating to risk, controls and analytics housed under a single umbrella for advanced monitoring and rapid deployment.
More specifically, the platform supplies customers with business process and IT compliance dashboards to readily identify risk and control issues, EY said. Its component parts cover analytics and governance, risk management and compliance. EY’s existing risk and compliance solutions -- the EY Business Integrity Platform and EY RouteONE, intended to help organizations establish continuous risk-monitoring capabilities -- are now integrated with the EY Governance Risk and Compliance Digital Boardroom and SAP's Digital Boardroom application.

"As the complexity of business systems continues to increase in today's landscape, so does the demand for more comprehensive and actionable risk and compliance information,” said Tim Fuller, EY’s global SAP go-to-market leader. “But managing risk in silos across different functions, processes and infrastructure is no longer adequate. That is why we have developed the EY Risk Navigator.”
In an earlier EY study of some 1,000 CFO’s in the United Kingdom, concerns over data security and compliance risks with cloud computing ranked first among barriers to implementing new finance technologies.
EY said it will showcase the Risk Navigator service at the Sapphire Now 2018 conference next week in Orlando, Florida.
