With its release of Threat Navigator, Kudelski Security offers its managed detection and response (MDR) clients the ability to visualize cyber defense coverage against the MITRE ATT&CK framework while prioritizing efforts to combat sophisticated cyberattacks, the company said in a prepared statement.
Threat Navigator is a core component of Kudelski Security’s MDR client portal and is integrated with its eXtended detection and response (XDR) architecture.
Gaining a Deeper Understanding of Cyber Threats
Using Threat Navigator, clients can instantly understand their existing security detection coverage, the company said. Thus, clients can gain a deeper understanding of what data and security tooling is required to improve their detection capability against threat actors known to target their industry.
As Kudelski CEO Andrew Howard explained:
“Our global clients need more insights into the risks they face, including attack patterns and threat actors by industry, as well as by geography. By introducing Threat Navigator to our MDR portal, we’re helping clients better understand risks and prioritize defenses to continuously reduce the risk of business disruption, including direct and indirect financial losses and damage.”
Kudelski Security notes that Threat Navigator is part of its broader Cyber Fusion Center-based MDR strategy. This approach combines technology, services and highly tailored processes and procedures that are tuned to each client’s needs.
Threat Navigator Available to All MDR Clients
Industry-specific features are planned for future releases of Threat Navigator to further improve defense strategies and provide regular resiliency guidance as threat landscapes and cloud and hybrid business environments, Kudelski Security said.

Kudelski Goes Big on MDR Services
Previously, Kudelski Security released the FusionDetect cloud-native analytics platform for its MDR services, MSSP Alert reported on May 27, 2022. FusionDetect helps organizations streamline their security processes and technologies and allows organizations to use Kudelski Security’s MDR services with no upfront costs.
The FusionDetect launch comes after Kudelski Security in April 2022 released its MDR One solution. And in November 2021, the company integrated Microsoft Defender for Endpoint into its MDR services. The integration lets organizations ingest endpoint data from Microsoft Defender for Endpoint-protected devices and monitor their IT environments, hunt for threats and remediate cyberattacks.
