1. Horizon3.ai Partnership Bolsters Public Sector Security: Horizon3.ai, a specialist in autonomous security solutions for the public and private sectors, is partnering with FedHIVE, a cloud service offering for federal agencies, government contractors, and commercial organizations. FedHIVE, which holds an active Joint Authorization Board (JAB) Authorization to Operate (ATO) at the FedRAMP High level, is set to incorporate Horizon3.ai's NodeZero SaaS-based platform into their ATO framework. The NodeZero autonomous penetration testing platform empowers the public and private sectors to continuously assess their exploitable attack surfaces. It is the flagship product of Horizon3.ai, founded in 2019 by former industry and U.S. National Security veterans, the company said.

2. Adaptiva and Insight Partnership Secures Endpoints: Adaptiva, a specialist in autonomous endpoint management, has formed a strategic partnership with Insight Enterprises, a Fortune 500 solutions integrator. Adaptiva will extend Insight's managed endpoint service offering to automate third party application patching for client organizations. As part of the partnership, Insight will also resell Adaptiva's patching and endpoint management products to their clients, the companies said.

3. Tenable Names Chief Product Officer: Tenable, an exposure management company, has named Shai Morag as chief product officer. Morag will focus on delivering increased momentum and scale across Tenable’s entire portfolio, driving the company’s next era of growth by building security products for a cloud-first world, the company said. In addition, Tenable Research has discovered multiple privilege-escalation issues in the Azure Health Bot Service via a server-side request forgery (SSRF), which allowed researchers access to cross-tenant resources.

4. Guardio Delivers Financial Scam Solution: Guardio has launched Critical Security Alerts, a service that enables real-time alerts to identify and prevent financial scams, ensuring immediate intervention when suspicious browsing patterns are detected. Guardio uses AI to monitor and analyze scam activities and usage patterns to enhance protection while ensuring user privacy with complete data anonymization. The feature detects potential manipulation by analyzing deviations from typical user behavior, such as unexpected sequences of actions, and identifies patterns consistent with known scam tactics, the company said.

5. Data Erasure Service Debuts: Stellar, a data erasure and recovery solutions provider, has launched enhanced remote wiping capabilities within its Drive Erasure software. The new remote wiping software enables internal IT teams of organizations and service providers with secure, efficient and compliant data erasure for remote devices spread across locations, tackling critical cybersecurity challenges effectively, the company said.

6. KnowBe4 Offers Cyber Awareness Kit: KnowBe4, a security awareness training and simulated phishing platform provider, has released a free cybersecurity resource toolkit for individuals and organizations in recognition of Cybersecurity Awareness Month. KnowBe4's Cybersecurity Awareness Month Resource Kit contains a comprehensive guide on how to use the kit and campaign ideas to help IT admins get started with building an effective cybersecurity awareness program. This resource is designed to empower both individuals and organizations to take an active role in safeguarding their portion of cyberspace and strengthening their overall security posture, the company said.

7. Vertiv Launches Security Monitoring Solution: Vertiv, a provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, has introduced Vertiv Environet Connect, a cloud-connected and web-based fleet management and monitoring solution. It features a device-agnostic interface that can handle diverse data center infrastructure equipment across multiple locations, regardless of the manufacturer.

8. eSentire for Sale?: The owners of eSentire, a managed detection and response (MDR) provider, are exploring a potential sale that could value the cybersecurity company at about $1 billion, including debt. eSentire — which is owned by investment firms Warburg Pincus, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) and Georgian — is working with investment bank Evercore on a sale process that could attract interest from other private equity firms. 9. New Charter Technologies, Dynamic Edge Partner: New Charter Technologies, a portfolio company of private equity firm Oval Partners, is partnering with Dynamic Edge, an MSP that offers comprehensive suite of services, including 24x7 managed and co-managed IT support, cybersecurity, custom application development and regulatory compliance, and serves industries such as finance, real estate, accounting, healthcare, manufacturing and non-profit, the companies said.

10. Soteria and Panther Form Cyber Pact: Soteria, a cybersecurity services company, has formed a strategic partnership for its MDR line of business, partnering with next generation security information event management (SIEM) provider Panther. Soteria customers can now leverage the next generation capabilities of the Panther platform while offloading time and resource intensive security tasks to the cybersecurity expertise of Soteria’s Detection and Response Team, the companies said.
