Trustwave, a Top 100 MSSP that provides compliance, threat and vulnerability management services, has launched Academy for Partners -- an online learning system available to the company's channel partners.
With Academy for Partners, Trustwave partners can complete formal training courses to better understand customer security and compliance challenges, according to the company. The online learning system helps Trustwave partners identify potential new sales opportunities, the business said, and gain technical expertise that they can use to effectively deliver the company's managed security services.
In addition, Trustwave has introduced Partner Hub, a self-service portal that provides the company's partners with access to marketing materials, sales information, technical support and product documentation. The portal also ensures access to case studies, research and security reports from SpiderLabs, Trustwave's team of ethical hackers, forensic investigators and security researchers.

Trustwave to Expand Its Global Headquarters
Trustwave has been in growth mode. For instance, the company in June announced plans to increase the size of its global headquarters by 65 percent. With the global headquarters expansion, Trustwave will create additional room for more than 700 Chicago-based employees by the end of the year, the company said at the time.
Furthermore, Trustwave intends to hire more sales, engineering, security research and operations talent to keep pace with its growth. The company currently employs 1,700 workers globally, and approximately one-third of these employees operate out of the business' Chicago headquarters.
Trustwave is a privately held information security company that is owned and operated by Asian communications provider Singtel Telecommunications, which reached an agreement to acquire the business in April 2015. The company provides a variety of security products, including application, endpoint and network security offerings.
