Pcysys has extended its PenTera automated penetration testing platform to MSSPs (managed security services providers).
The new Pcysys release, dubbed PenTera Service Provider (SP), enables MSSPs to purchase licenses for penetration-test instances and leverage them to deliver penetration testing-as-a-service, the company said. It also provides MSSPs with the option to resell PenTera SP.
In addition, MSSPs can use PenTera SP to help organizations assess and improve their cyber resilience and comply with data security regulations, Pcysys said. This ensures MSSPs can leverage PenTera to protect organizations against evolving cyberattacks.
PenTera does not require any installations or network configurations, the company indicated. It also executes exploits without disrupting an organization's day-to-day operations, and re-tests and validates corrective actions, the company asserts.
