Votiro, a startup zero trust content protector, has revamped its channel program and added a new asset for managed service providers (MSPs) and managed security service providers (MSSPs).
The Austin, Texas-based company specializes in eliminating file-borne attacks that may be embedded in email, web downloads, portal uploads and all file sharing platforms. It landed $11.5 million in Series A funding this past March. Votiro’s market segment is referred to as Content Disarm and Reconstruction.
A Closer Look at Votiro
Votiro's solution is designed for industries that rely on the ability to send and receive safe data and content. The industries encompass financial services, healthcare, transportation, manufacturing and legal sectors.
The company's technology is built on the basis of not trusting any files, no matter where they come from. Its platform is available via an open API that allows partners to identify the best use for their line of business and then grow significantly over time.
Votiro, which positions itself as a channel first vendor, said its Accelerate partner program is indicative of a maturation of its channel presence with a more innovative offering. This will help expand its reach to new partners in North America, the U.K. and Asia Pacific.
In addition to expanding its channel program, Votiro’s MSP Dashboard enables partners and large enterprises to create and manage multiple tenants.
Votiro CEO Ravi Srinivasan explained how the company has “put its capital to work":
“We have expanded our team by bringing on best-in-class channel, marketing and product leaders to advance this partner program and accelerate our partners' ability to close more deals faster and with a larger share of wallet.”
Votiro Accelerates Sales
The Accelerate partner program is segmented into four “sales lanes,” including a referral sales lane, reseller sales lane, MSP/MSSP, and distribution sales lane.
The resell sales lane classifies selected partners at either silver, gold or platinum levels. Each level is determined by a combination of metrics that indicate an organization’s investment into a Votiro partnership, including partner-sourced opportunities, technical capabilities, training commitments and co-marketing initiatives.
Through the recently released MSP Dashboard, MSP and enterprise organizations can display, filter and create reports on each of those tenants from one control center. As Alex Gomez, Vortiro go-to-market vice president, Strategy and Execution, explained:
“Our goal is twofold. We want to help the channel community add a critical layer of security to their existing platform and security investments while also helping our partners build their next multi-million-dollar line of business. We have built our partner program to support customers across the full lifecycle and experience, helping our partners' grow top and bottom-line revenue.”
