CrowdStrike Endpoint Protection Adds Tiers to Channel Partner Program

CrowdStrike, a company that specializes in cloud-based endpoint security, has added Associate, Focus and Elite tiers to its Elevate Partner Program for MSSPs, MSPs and other technology resellers. Elevate partners also can choose between one or more business tracks, including solution provider and technology alliance options, and obtain a Partner Security Services Specialization to help them differentiate their offerings.

Elevate partners can integrate the CrowdStrike Falcon endpoint protection platform into their cybersecurity portfolios. Furthermore, Elevate partners can use Falcon to develop and deploy AI-based security services and protect their customers against cyberattacks.

Falcon uses artificial intelligence and behavioral-based threat identification to provide threat intelligence and security alerts, CrowdStrike indicated. It correlates 1 trillion security events a week to help organizations quickly detect and address cyber threats.

CrowdStrike Opens Romanian Center of Innovation, Integrates with AWS Security Hub

In addition to the Elevate updates, CrowdStrike last month opened a center of innovation in Bucharest, Romania. The center expands CrowdStrike's global presence and serves as a hub of innovation for its cloud engineering, Windows/MacOS/Linux, security research and response and data science teams, the company said.

CrowdStrike also integrated Falcon with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Hub in October. The integration enables organizations to leverage Falcon to protect cloud workloads running on AWS.

Coming Soon: A CrowdStrike IPO?

CrowdStrike in October 2018 hired Goldman Sachs Group to prepare an initial public offering (IPO) that could arrive this year. It also is targeting a valuation of more than $3 billion.

Earlier in the year, CrowdStrike in June 2018 secured $200 million in Series E funding, bringing its total financing raised to date to more than $480 million. At the time, CrowdStrike reported its valuation was more than $3 billion.

What Does the Future Hold for CrowdStrike?

MSSPs, MSPs and other channel partners could play key roles in CrowdStrike's future.

CrowdStrike in August 2018 added MSSP, cloud-workload procurement and original equipment manufacturer (OEM)/embedded categories to Elevate. Also, CrowdStrike reported 375 percent growth in its partner-sourced business, a 370 percent increase in deal registrations and 477 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for its partner-driven closed business during the first six months of last year.
